The New Power Ranger’s Movie Has Cast Rita Repulsa

In 2017 we’ll see the return of the Power Rangers, and now we know who’ll play arch nemesis Rita Repulsa. After 20-ish years she’s free and, I presume she’s still trying to conquer earth. Elizabeth Banks will star as the villain formerly played by the late Machiko Soga, which has also cast the rangers as you can see on their Instagram.

What do you think of this casting decision and if not Banks, who would you have
chosen to play the Rangers’ notorious enemy? Now one can only wonder if Rita’s boo thang Lord Zedd be joining her in the new flick.
